What is the best rug pad for use on linoleum? I have a 10' x 10' rug and a 4' x 6' rug.
For the 10' x 10' rug, I would say our Eco Plush pad. This is made of 100% heat-pressed and is particularly suitable for larger rugs where slipping is not an issue. For your smaller rug, I recommend Contour Lock or Superior Lock. These felt and natural rubber pads provide a solid grip and comfortable cushioning.
We have brand new Marmoleum flooring by Forbo. We have heard that any oil-based material including soybean oil is bad for linoleum because linoleum contains linseed oil. We have a very cheap rug and want a pad that is safe to use. What do you recommend?
Will the Super Lock Natural rug pad keep a thick carpet remnant from slipping?
I am looking for the best soundproofing pad for 10' x 12' old sheet linoleum. What can you suggest?

Rug pads are so necessary to keep your rugs looking good. The pads that most stores sell are for traction. Rug pads are meant to elevate and provide a platform in which to lay.
